ABOUT AHS TRI-M

ONE DEPARTMENT.

MANY VOICES.

A COMMON GOAL.

Tri-M is unique in that it brings together students from all areas of the music department to work toward a common goal. It creates opportunities for connection and collaboration across grade levels and performing ensembles, fostering a stronger and more united musical community.

THE THREE PILLARS

PERFORM

Students take part in numerous concerts and performance events through their band, choir, and music theory classes. They are also encouraged to attend additional performances to support their peers in the music department and to experience high-level concerts presented by outside organizations.

LEAD

Students in Tri-M are encouraged to lead their peers by setting positive examples in their music organization and throughout the school. We also encourage members to apply for officer positions within the organization to foster leadership experience.

SERVE

Tri-M is a service-based honor society, and members are required to participate in service activities that use music as a means to give back to the community. Students can take part in events organized by Tri-M or in service opportunities they discover or create independently.
